For a career in crime research, head to Delhi's NICFS

For those interested in the field of investigation and crime research, a Master’s degree from the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS), in Rohini, will provide a career edge.

The UGC has recognised the institute and also promotes its refresher courses. The certificate courses in Police Photography, Explosives and Explosion and Document Photography among others, are held solely for public servants on the basis of the courses' demand.

NICFS also undertakes research projects in the fields of Criminology and Forensic Science and provides research fellowships to well performing scholars for pursuing their PhD.

Admissions for the two postgraduate courses are now open. Forms can be collected before June 30 at a cost of Rs 1,000 from the IP University's main campus in Kashmere Gate. Entrance tests will be conducted on July 7.
